NWR events are created by the list for the list, featuring list talent in forms of music, visuals, promoters, and yourself-- the "raver." They are created on a non-profit basis by volunteers from the list just for the pure enjoyment of it, and just so we can all get to meet each other in person. The first list party was the July 2nd '93 FMR, or Full Moon Rave, on a beach in Seattle. The next event, as outlined in the history, was SeattlePLUR 96, then PLURvan 97, then SeattlePLUR II 98, PortPLUR 98, PLURTrek 98 (in B.C.), and now Seattle pl*r 99.
- What is a "NWR party?"
- What should I bring and what is the Giving Altar?
- Who is throwing this party anyway?
- When is it and where?
- Who can I bring?
- Where can I get a badge?
Be a part of the history!
Bring yourself and everything! Toys, candy, stickers-- and bring a small gift for the Giving Altar, where you leave a gift and take a gift for someone else. Here are some neat things we would especially like you to bring to this event:
-your favourite NWR post for the collage wall
-candy ! suckers ! condoms !
-a costume, yourself, hugs, kisses, back massages
-blankets, pillows, mattresses, beds, sofas for the chill room
-sparkles, streamers, tires, foam and any other decorations
-water, refreshments, food to share
-TOYS ! for children and adults (crack goes the whip !)
-a small gift for the gift altar
A while back, Ben Sims sent out the call for interested list members (anyone! Pure Democracy!) to join the planner's list and
help give their input. ANYONE is allowed to help out-- and we need your help! To join, email email@example.com with
