Nice mix! I came close to buying one of those tunes toward the end, I think it's called Saturday
night or something?
I'm still getting to grips with CD mixing. The music's cheaper...

Subject: (oldschool) Random Tune IDs

Hi folks (if there's anyone left here),

Some random tune IDs you might be able to help out with:

The first is a mellow jungle track, probably '94-'95 ish I think, with
a wicked female vocal that I've had going through my head but can't
remember where I know it from... some old mixtape I had I think. I
can only half remember some of the words but hopefully it will jog
someone's memory. Bear in mind that these are not necessarily in the
right order, or even the right words 'cos I'm terrible at hearing
lyrics properly....

I think it might be called "Calling", but I have no idea who it's by.

It starts with some "Ooooh ahhhhooo, wooooah, ahhhhhh" singing, then
some lyrics are:
"It's taken some time to finally come around ...
To know that you're the only one ...
I feel so afraid to step into your doorway but the sound of your
calling... [blah blah blah]"

There are more verses and stuff but I can't remember how they go.

The next ones are a couple of tune's a mate was trying to get me to
remember but he's *very* vague... this is all I've got to go on:

1. "the tune with ENERGISE GIVE IT TO THEM sample, GIVE GIVE GIVE GIVE
IT TO THEM
totally mental, it's about a zillion years old"

2. "my name is bubblegum - classic, newer, basic, wicked, proper"

Cheers now,
Kev.

No idea! There's a tech itch and kemal track called "Calling VIP", but I
doubt that's the tune.

I'm still trying to find out what this tune is:

"there's something about the music just come allll over me...and you can
use it" and "just keep movin, just keep groovin"

And no, it's not Marathon's "Movin".

I think that's "Greater Love" by Soundman & Don Lloydie w/ Elisabeth Troy?
Could be wrong tho, but I'm almost certain that's what it is.
