Subject: (oldschool) RE: Energiser

Yep it was Dave Charlesworth. DISCOGS.COM confirms this also.
However I just realised that there were was only ever series 1 to 4
released.

I've managed to find all 4, both A & B sides via SoulSeek.

Cheers Rob!

Subject: (oldschool) Hey All

Its been a long time since ive posted. Hope all is well with everyone.

I posted and ID request a few months ago about a track that was on an Ellis
Dee 3 tape. I finally managed to track it down through a friend. If anyone
is interested, it's Raw from China Vol.2. If anyone wants the MP3, email me
and I'll forward it on.

Cheers,
Colin Dee.

PS, just found an old mix of mine on an FTP. I'll leave it up there for a
few days if anyone wants it.

Subject: (oldschool) Few rarities for sale, Paypal only

Hi all,

Due to immediate severe monetary distress (won't get into that) I'm currently
listing up a larger amount of my personal collection, including some top rare
tunes (and some not so rare but still sought after)... not putting them on GEMM
immediately as Paypal payment is preferred at this point. Here's the first batch
of em, the biggies of the biggies, mostly... please take a look and contact me
if you see anything you're after.

All tunes are in VG+ to EX condition, no jumps or skips, and have been checked
and cleaned. All prices below include postage to the UK from the States, and if
buying two or more with a total above £30, I can probably knock a bit off the
total.

Acen - Close Your Eyes (Optikonfusion!) [Production House] - £15
http://www.discogs.com/release/13347

Alex Reece & Jack Smooth - 20 Hurts EP [Sound Entity] - £80
http://www.discogs.com/release/111731

Berty B & Dillinja - Lion Heart [Lion Heart] - £15
http://www.discogs.com/release/253614

Citrus - Fascination [Paradise] - £40
http://www.discogs.com/release/105486

Fast Floor - Plight Of The Innovators [Smooth] - £40
http://www.discogs.com/release/125830

Hedgehog Affair - Rush Till Dawn EP [Sound Entity white label] - £20
http://www.discogs.com/release/138324

In Perfection - Expression (Fear Mix) [Whitehouse] - £100
http://www.discogs.com/release/408617
Super rare -- this is the only copy I've ever had, seen, or even heard about...
deleted due to the cheeky Tears For Fears sample, presumably.

Invisible Man - Skyliner Remix [Timeless] - £10
http://www.discogs.com/release/24716

Johnny Jungle - Flammable (Remixes) [Suburban Base DJ Promo] - £20
http://www.discogs.com/release/17875

Justice & Mercy - Concrete Jungle EP [RBRSAFE1] - £35
http://www.discogs.com/release/307653

LTJ Bukem - Demon's Theme [original pre-Good Looking white label] - £25
http://www.discogs.com/release/435613

Mastersafe & DJ SS - Monstersound (Full Length Album Mix) / Untitled [Formation
DUBPLATE] - £75
No Discogs info on this one, A-side is the remix of Monstersound which appeared
on the "New Breed Of Ravers" album, but extended well past the short running
time on the CD, and is fucking WICKED. B-side is an unknown tune from DJ SS,
severe sounding darkside with unusual breaks. Definitely one of a kind, still in
playable condition (amazing for a dub from 93).

Noise Factory - A New Something EP [3rd Party] - £20
http://www.discogs.com/release/67252

Noise Factory - The Capsule EP [3rd Party] - £35
http://www.discogs.com/release/80904

Old Trainers - Old Trainers EP [white label stamped original press] - £15
http://www.discogs.com/release/255578

Secret Squirrel & AJ Flex - Come Rudebwoy Remix [Bogwoppa] - £12
http://www.discogs.com/release/66739

Shades Of Rhythm - The Jungle EP [SOR] - £12
http://www.discogs.com/release/404662

Skanna - Find Me (The Remixes) [Skanna] - £12
http://www.discogs.com/release/236450

Skanna - Until The Night Is Morning [Skanna] - £30
http://www.discogs.com/release/144935

Wax Doctor - A New Direction EP [Basement (original 3-tracker)] - £25
http://www.discogs.com/release/73935

Xenophobia - Hypo! Psycho! EP [Xenophobia] - £30
http://www.discogs.com/release/391688

Thanks for looking. More to come over the next few days as I have more of a
chance to enter 'em in. Again, if interested, please give me a shout at
purectrl@niceboots.com.

Take care,
- Chris Purity

Hi guys, here's some more from my personal collection. Again I apologize for the
severity of the prices on these, but I'm in desperate need of money right now
(need to raise approx $2000 by the end of the month), so please take a look, and
if there's anything you're after please give me a shout.

As before all tunes are in VG+ to EX condition, no jumps, no skips, and have
been cleaned and checked. All prices include postage from the states to the UK,
and if ordering two or more with a total over £30, I can probably knock a few
quid off the price.

Subject: Re: (oldschool) how much is a fine for no MOT?

I got stopped with my MOT 6 weeks out of date, I got
the producer and got a new MOT before I went to the
police station to do the producer, they noted that I
had got an MoT now though obviously it was out of date
when I was stopped. They said I would hear from them.

About 2 months later got a letter saying that they
were not going to proceed with any charge.

So mate I think you'll be ok, if you've been given a
producer it might be best to do like I did, and get it
MOT'd right away before going in for the producer as I
think that it helped for me.

Subject: (oldschool) Another bootleg mashup; Tango Vs. Lost "Time For Gonzobombin'"

Hi everyone,

Hot on the heels of the Ratpack vs Xtina bootleg I did a few days back,
here's one that I've just done last night, not quite as cheesy as the last
one I did but still goes together pretty well I think.

DJ Purity Control - Time For Gonzobombin'
192kbps MP3, 7.7Mb, 5:22 long.

This one is;
- Tango "Timebomb (Remix)" ('93 darkside jungle techno)
vs
- Lost "The Gonzo" (early Perfecto non-cheesy release)

Download from the following sites;

Mirror #1 - Repetitive Beats (faster)
http://repetitivebeats.gemm.com/seller/repetitivebeats/DJ_Purity_Control_-_Time_For_Gonzobombin.mp3

Mirror #2 - Niceboots (slower)
http://www.niceboots.com/~devilman/DJ_Purity_Control_-_Time_For_Gonzobombin'.mp3

It's not just a straight one over the other, either, I rearranged parts so
there's some new surprises in there. Let me know what you think. Oh and
for the record if you're expecting vocals, there's not really much to
speak of, aside from the occasional "kick it". So chipmunk fearers, feel
free to nab it. All comments welcome as usual.

Thanks fellas and fellettes :)

Take care,
- Chris Purity

Just downloading this new one now, but I meant to say the other day that
despite my better judgement I loved the Christina vs Ratpack one!
