*madison's scene is pretty big and unique. the ravers are for the most part VERY kool, and the parties are always very big and well done. the parties are kinda weird in the sense that the best dj's come to more of the smaller underground parties. the parties rarely get busted because of the good job the promoters do on getting a secure spot. if they do get busted, its merely a "send you home, its too loud" bust, no lock-ins to search. some of madcity's dj's are mindrive, jason dee, adeptus, wickett, sam haskin, peterbilt, dj kee, brain, t-money, nick nice, etc. the cardinal bar has nick nice spinnin some nites during the week so check it out there. there are many house parties on campus during the wknd where dj's will spin in someone's basement. if ya got connections check this out, too.

**madison offers a bit of everything (as you might already know). If you're lookin for a cool place to hang out, try state st, the union memorial, or anywhere downtown on campus. state st has every fuckin type of restaurant you can possibly imagine. i suggest cellar subs for the best subs (veggie or meat-o-rama) in madison. if you must have some coffee at da cafe, there are billions on state st. if you need a bite to eat after a rave, goto any country kitchen. they offer some of the best food for the right price and they're open 24-7!! go to knuckleheads on state to get any tobacco accessories or herbal e. oh yeah, goto the puzzlebox to pick up some kool-ass toys to keep ya busy. galleries are everywhere downtown. the best would be the elvehjem on university ave. you can skate at the fountain area across the street from the union memorial between state st (just watch out for them 5-O's, it is illegal to skate down around there). if ya need a friend to dance with when coming to a madison rave to shake yer booty or get a city tour, then give me a piece of email at ink95@aol.com and ill see ya there.

***a great place to pick up records is seventh dimension on 3840 atwood ave next to walgreens. from house to hardcore, they have it all: imports, domestics, promos, special orders, most all vinyl, mixtapes, and cd's. their hours always change and are very unique. so call em to see when they really are gonna be open (((608.223.0031))). dj nick nice runs it and will be happy to help you with any questions.
