MW-Raves R0M Submission Guidelines
*subject to change, just moving in.....
- list your dj lineup, city, venue if you want, event name, date,
infoline or email, web site, any other info like lighting,
visuals, sound.
- i reserve the right to edit submissions.
- i reserve the right to not list events by promoters who have not
respected the scene.
- i don't list weeklies outside of the immediate region unless they are
special or have a headliner, i
will list new weeklies once or twice maybe. there is a weeklies section
otherwise. also to 100% clarify, i consider a headliner to be a
nonregional, major draw dj. this is at my discretion.
- if you cancel your event, please notify me.
- don't "reserve" dates.
- keep the formatting simple. don't center text unless you are using a
fixed width font. keep it less than 80 columns if you do. don't use
tabs. (due to the scripting and fun html setup i have going)
- give a name with your event, otherwise, i like to make something
stupid up. no, seriously, i'll name it for you, actually i rather
enjoy it!
- expect it to take a few days to appear sometimes, i don't sit at my
computer waiting for ROM submissions, especially on weekends and
holidays. lately its been a week or 2.
- so going by the above, it'd be a good idea to submit your event at
least 3--one, two, THREE--weeks ahead of time, but of course, the more the
better!
- There is now the ability to do _light_ HTML. I hope to improve
this in the future.
- don't send word documents. plain text ONLY.
i reserve the right to omit events not thrown in good faith--promoters
who stiff people money, promoters who show NO regard for the scene,
promoters who don't respect other promoters, and most importantly don't
respect the RAVERS.
