Raves Busted In Strip, Downtown

Hefty Fines Could Be Issued

Parties at 333 4th Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh (pictured at top right)
and the Paintball Sports Arena in the Strip District (bottom right) were
broken up.
Police said that the owner of the downtown building would be fined more
than $430,000 for the party, which reportedly held 1,100 more people than
allowed by law.
The paintball arena exceeded its legal capacity by 400 people, police
said.
Reopening dates for the buildings have reportedly not been set.
